“ Tried Ji Bei Chuan in Bayside and had a great experience overall. The food was heartwarming, and the rice noodles paired perfectly with the rich soup bases. We ordered the R1 (Supreme Fish Maw Chicken Soup) and S1 (Original Bone Soup with Chicken)--both were incredibly tasty and comforting. Be warned: the soup comes very hot and stayed warm throughout the meal, which we loved. We also tried the Beef Yakiudon, which was decent but not as impressive. The beef was a bit drier than expected, and the dish could have used more flavor overall. Service was solid, and the cozy atmosphere makes it a nice spot for a comforting meal. We'll definitely be back to try more of their soup options! ”
“ Yum! Had the popular chicken noodles and it was delicious. I brought home the other half because it was so big and it was just as good the next day. My friend who has visited before mentioned that the chicken version is a bit more greasy than the fish maw version but bother were still great! Cheap eats, large portions, deliciousness. Nothing more to ask for. ”
“ Perfect for the cold nights. A bowl of this warms you up right away! The place is clean, spacious and the staff is attentive! I ordered their popular chicken/fish slices noodle soup. It'll fill you up by itself. A good portion of chicken and just a few slivers of fish. Broth is delicious. I also loved the appetizer of the braised intestines. Soft, slight chew and tasty! The only thing is I feel like I always just order these. Need to try something else! Definitely recommend! ”
“ I have been waiting to try this place since it opened on Bell Boulevard. I was pleasantly impressed with the food and service. The place is large with a good amount of staff. ”
“ Came here in the last week of the year 2024. The staff was very helpful and attentive, making sure to clear your table of dirty plates, refill napkins and hot tea. The ambiance was modern, casual and spacious for lots of customer to dine in. I noticed there was a bench at the middle of the table. Quite interesting. Ordered the Supreme Fish Maw Chicken Soup Rice Noodles and Sauerkraut Soup Rice Noodles. The broth was flavorful, nourishing, and not oily. The noodle portion was generous. But the protein portion was alright given they are like in the high ten $. Wish they provided more proteins. Some of the tofu cubes tasted rotten, had to discard them. Everything else tasted good Perhaps will come back again in the future to try their other soups! ”
“ Food was good. Nice kick. Restaurant was clean. Was sat right away. Offered hot tea which was greatly appreciated when it's 20 degrees out. Staff is very friendly. Lunch special until 3pm comes with entree, appetizer and a soda. ”
“ Great value and fast service!! Came here after a long walk, and got the tomato base soup with beef. Highly recommend sharing a bowl as the portions are huge. The tomato base was quite strong, but the soup didn't feel too salty. There's a decent amount of seating as well, so I'm eager to come back to try their other noodle soups. ”
“ Wonderful Asian cuisine. Good Asian restaurant Liked the decor and set up. Service 4/5, lack of communication due to language. But very courteous and attentive. Food 10/5 ! Delicious, sweet and flavorful. Many dishes. Favorite was the rice cakes on the appetizer menu ! Try it A++ Superr ”
“ After ordering from one of Ji Bei Chuan's locations multiple times at work, I decided to pop into the Bayside location for dine in. Yes, I was craving the n00dz so you bet I needed a Ji Bei Chuan fixing! I ordered the rice noodles with beef brisket in tomato soup (and an add-on of tendon), as well as the spicy fish skin. Let me tell you, I was completely satisfied! My only complaint about the noodles was that the beef brisket chunks were a bit big & they included tendon, which is fine but y'all gotta cut that meat into smaller pieces! The fish skin was delish - crispy, spicy & a nostalgic nod to Irvin's fish chips (and Singaporean culture). A cheap-ish eat without all the frills? Obvi, I'll be back for more! ”
